Biographical Information[edit]
Meng-Tsai Wu played in the TML for 6 years.
Wu was signed by the Chianan Luka when they were founded in 1996, and he hit .212/.247/.247 in 53 games in 1997. He struggled again as his batting line was .191/.244/.243 in 1998, then he improved to .287/.345/.347 in 1999 and he attended the 1999 TML All-Star Game. Wu was an All-Star again in 2000, and he hit .292/.352/.356 with 13 doubles. He then recorded a .300/.356/.369 batting line in 2001, but he slumped to .240/.296/.260 in 2002. Wu announced his retirement after the two leagues merged in 2003.
Overall, Wu hit .266/.322/.321 with 274 hits in 6 seasons in the TML.
