Melching Field at Conrad Park

From BR Bullpen

Located in DeLand, Florida, Melching Field at Conrad Park was built in 1999 as the home field for Stetson University. In 1998 Conrad Park was demolished and the new ballpark was built on the same site. Melching Field at Conrad Park was turned around a complete 180 degrees. The batter's box is now in what used be center field and the center fielder is positioned near the old batter's box. This move was done to negate the effect of the sun on the batters. It is named after Dale Melching.

The field has also hosted many of the Atlantic Sun Conference baseball tournaments since 2002.
