Biographical Information[edit]
Medric Boucher played six seasons in the minors, mostly with the Dubuque Dubs, and came to the majors in the Federal League. In the majors, he was primarily a catcher and pinch-hitter, and most of his games were with the Baltimore Terrapins in 1914. He was also in one game with the Pittsburgh Rebels that same year.
There have not been many Bouchers in the big leagues, but one of the few was Al Boucher, who also played in the 1914 Federal League. They don't seem to have been related, however.
He is the only major leaguer, through 2020, with the first name Medric.
