McCrorey-Liston School of Technology opened in 1954 in Blair, SC as McCrorey-Liston High School to serve the African-American community. In 1986, it merged into Fairfield Central High School, with the old McCrorey-Liston High School becoming an elementary school until being converted into a speclialized technical school in 2011. Gene Richards went here when it was still a high school.
