Biographical Information

Mauricio Oliveri pitched for the Peruvian national team in the 2017 Bolivarian Games. In the opener, he was a bright spot in a 17-0 loss to Silver Medal winner Panama, working 1 1/3 hitless, scoreless innings (1 K, 1 BB) in between Edgar Paredes and Keigo Arakaki. He got the start against Gold Medal-bound Colombia and went four innings with six hits, four walks and six runs (all earned) while fanning two. Jonathan Farías relieved.
