Matt Aker
The son of major league pitcher Jack Aker, Matt Aker has been a college coach.
A pitcher primarily in college, Matt began his coaching career as an assistant at Ole Miss in 1993. He was head coach of Magnolia Heights High School and Chaminade-Madonna High School for a total of ten years. He was assistant coach at Greensboro College from 2005-2009 then was named as the school's third head coach in September 2009. He went 10-27 in 2010, his first year at the helm. He turned the program around in two seasons, taking them to a 22-14 record. He won 66 games overall in four seasons at the helm of Greensboro.
