Biographical Information

Fernando Laurel was 1 for 3 as a part-time DH for the Philippines in the 2007 Asian Championship. The 17-year-old's hit came off Hyuk Kwon. He won Gold in the 2011 Southeast Asian Games. A late addition to the Filipino roster for the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, he went 3 for 10 with two walks, a double, two runs and a RBI as their main third baseman. Only Ryan Pineda hit better for the team.
