[1] In the 2021 European Championship Qualifier, he was a backup third baseman for Slovakia and did well (2 for 3, 2 BB, 3 R) and registering one assist in the field. [2] Slovakia won a spot in the European Championship for the first time. In the 2021 European Championship, he succeeded Denis Pakši at short as the event went on (Pakši moved to third). He got hits against Sweden's Oskar Syrén each of his first two at-bats. In the 15th/16th place game against France, his second-inning single off Gédéon Coste briefly gave Slovakia a 3-2 lead, but they would fall in extra innings. He finished the Euros at .333/.400/.333 with two runs and one RBI in five games, fielding .905. He was third on Slovakia in hits, behind Mário Gottschall and Martin Brunegraf. Among the regulars, only Gottschall had a better average for Slovakia. [3]
