Biographical Information[edit]
Masahiro Abe was a catcher who represented Japan in the 1984 Amateur World Series. He was 0 for 13 with two walks and two runs while backing up Yasuo Yoshida but threw out all four runners who tried to steal and handled 39 chances error-free. He played for Nissan in the Industrial League.
