Marti Sementelli won the Bronze Medal game in the 2008 Women's Baseball World Cup at age 15.
Sementelli was the only girl on her high school's baseball team and was named MVP; she threw a no-hitter one game. Her pitching earned her appearances on the Wayne Brady Show and Early Morning Show. In the 2008 Women's Baseball World Cup, she allowed one run in 7 innings against Australia to win the Bronze Medal game. The 15-year-old was named the tourney's Best Pitcher.
