Biographical Information[edit]
Martín Aleman played briefly for the Nicaraguan national team. In the 1996 Olympics, he backed up Julio Osejo at catcher. He went 1 for 3 with a walk and a run but had two passed balls in six innings; his hit came off Jutaro Kimura. In the 1997 Intercontinental Cup, he was 1 for 2 with a walk, two runs and a RBI, playing one inning at catcher (behind Osejo) and five in right field (behind Jose Ramon Padilla). He helped Nicaragua to a Silver in the 1997 Central American Games and another Silver at the 1998 Central American and Caribbean Games.
