Mark Rizzi has been a college coach.

Rizzi has worked for New Jersey City University, Seton Hall University and the Lyndhurst Public Schools. He got his first coaching job at Paterson Catholic Regional High School, taking over a 0-23 team and guiding them to the playoffs by the end of his run. In 2001, he was 11-26 as head coach of Bloomfield College. He then was hired as head coach of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey at Newark for the 2002 season.
