Mark Pavao
Mark Pavao was a college coach.
Pavao was an infielder during his playing career. He was assistant at Coyle-Cassidy High School in 1994. From 1996-1998, he was assistant coach at the Community College of Rhode Island. From 1999-2005, he was assistant coach at Barry University. In 2000-2001, he also was involved with MLB International, working with Germany and France. He became head coach of Barry University in 2006, going 33-21-1 for the best rookie coaching season in school history. He was 32-24 in 2007, then 32-19 in 2008. The school improved to 44-11, their best record ever. They won their first Sunshine State Conference title. He went 342-222-2 in 11 seasons before stepping down.
Pavao was assistant coach for the 2009 Chatham A's as well.
