Biographical Information[edit]

Mark Hendrickson was selected in the MLB amateur draft six times. He is one of just a handful of players to play in both the major leagues and the National Basketball Association; he appeared in 114 games over 4 seasons in the NBA. However, he had a longer major league baseball career than his major league basketball career.

He was the first Toronto Blue Jays pitcher to hit a home run on June 21, 2003, against the Montreal Expos' Sun-Woo Kim.

He throws a cut fastball, a change-up and a curveball.

Hendrickson became a pitching coach with the Aberdeen IronBirds in 2017-2018.
