Biographical Information

Starting pitcher Mario Gonzalez has played in the Mexican League since 2005, when he was 18 years old.

The hurler began his career as a reliever, remaining in that role through 2011. In 2012, his first year as a starter, he went 4-9 with a 5.58 ERA for the Delfines de Ciudad del Carmen. He followed that with a 9-6, 3.70 season in 2013 and in 2014, he went 10-7 with a 2.80 ERA.
