Biographical Information[edit]
Marcus Smith has been a college coach.
He was assistant coach at Clark Atlanta University (2007-2009), then coached junior varsity in high school and for the Atlanta Sports Academy. He was assistant at LeMoyne-Owen College in 2013 then at Morehouse College in 2014-2015, before becoming head coach at LeMoyne-Owen from 2016-2018. He was head coach of Voorhees College in 2020-2021, then was assistant at Lafayette College in '22. After a year at the MLB Draft League, he moved to Southern University and A&M College as assistant coach in 2024.
