Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Marc Gélinas played in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization from 1976 to 1982, peaking at AA with the Buffalo Bisons in 1979. In 2005, he was appointed to the role of Director, Athlete and Community Relations for the Canadian Olympic Committee. His son Karl Gélinas pitched as high as AAA and another son, Eric Gélinas, played in the National Hockey League.
