José Manuel Cortina Martínez
Manuel Cortina hit .222/.284/.264 in two seasons in the Cuban Serie Nacional, playing primarily first base. He later spent many years as a pitching coach in the Serie A1/Italian Baseball League. He coached for the Italian national team in the 1992 Olympics, 1993 Intercontinental Cup, 2001 Baseball World Cup, 2002 Intercontinental Cup, 2003 Baseball World Cup and 2004 Olympics.
