Manabu Suzuki
Manabu Suzuki (鈴木 学)
- Throws Left
- High School Hokuriku High School
Biographical Information[edit]
Manabu Suzuki represented Japan in the 1999 Intercontinental Cup. He oddly played both catcher and pitcher, going 2 for 3 with two runs and a RBI and allowing one run in six innings; it is unclear if this is 100% correct as he is listed as a lefty thrower, which makes him being a catcher highly unusual; perhaps the catching/hitting stats were meant for teammate Teruhiko Suzuki, a catcher. He played for Panasonic in the Industrial League after college.
