Mahwah, NJ
Mahwah is a geographically large town (26.7 square miles) with a population of 25,000. It sits amidst the Ramapo Mountains in the Northwest corner of Bergen County in New Jersey.
Though only one major league player is listed as being born in Mahwah, the town's best baseball product was Curt Blefary, who graduated from Mahwah High School and won the 1965 American League Rookie of the Year Award. Kyle Teel, who was a top draft pick in 2023 attended high school here.
