Biographical Information[edit]
Lukas Ray was a catcher and a member of 2015 Region X Championship team at the University of South Carolina Lancaster (USC Lancaster) where he graduated with an Associate Degree in Science. From there he moved to the University of South Carolina (USC) where he continued his baseball career and earned a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies.
After graduating from USC, Ray moved immediately into the college coaching ranks taking a series of one-year jobs. For further experience, he also coached in a summer collegiate baseball league.

Ray left the MTSU Blue Raiders in April 2021 to join the San Diego Padres organization as the fielding coach for the ACL Padres. He then became manager for the ACL Padres in 2022-2023 and Lake Elsinore Storm in 2024.
