Luis Bernardo Sierra Llamas
Biographical Information[edit]
Luis Sierra Sr. won multiple batting titles in Colombia. He caught for the Colombian national team in the 1980 Amateur World Series and 1983 Pan American Games and coached for them in the 2005 Baseball World Cup, 2015 Pan American Games and 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers (when they won their first trip to a World Baseball Classic). He also has been a New York Yankees scout. His son Luis Sierra Jr. has also played for Colombia and spent time in the minors. His nephew José Mosquera played in the minors and managed for Colombia.
