Luis Alberto Ramírez Rosas

Luis Ramírez is a Mexican umpire. Ramírez first became a Mexican League umpire in 1988, at the age of 20. Through 2006, he had worked 14 Mexican League finals in 18 seasons. In 2002, he was named Umpire of the Year. He had also worked 13 Mexican Pacific League finals in 18 seasons through 2006-2007. He had worked 8 Caribbean Series through 2006. On the international stage, he has been an umpire in the 2003 Pan American Games, 2004 Olympics, 2006 COPABE Olympic qualifier and 2008 Olympics.
