Biographical Information

Luis Perdomo was selected by the Colorado Rockies from the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2015 Rule V Draft, then was immediately traded to the San Diego Padres with which he made his major league debut on April 4, 2016. Interestingly, the other major leaguer Luis Perdomo was also a Rule V pick. On August 28th, he recorded his first career complete game in defeating the Miami Marlins, 3-1. He could thank his defense for the performance, as they turned a team-record six double plays behind him to help him along. The complete game was also the first by any Padres pitcher that season.
