Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Luis Galindez played in the minor leagues in the early-and-mid 1970s. He hit .223/.298/.340 in 53 games for the Magic Valley Cowboys of the Atlanta Braves system in 1970, then went to the Mexican League for 1973 and 1974. He slashed .303/.358/.476 with 12 home runs and 59 RBI in 111 games for the Rojos del Aguila de Veracruz in 1973, but slipped to .198/.323/.272 in 25 games for the Mineros de Coahuila in 1974. Overall, he batted .264/.334/.406 with 15 home runs and 88 RBI in 189 games.
