Biographical Information

Luis Ayala was a journeyman reliever, pitching for seven clubs during a ten year career between 2003 and 2013. From his debut season, 2003, to 2005, he paced National League relievers with 62 holds. He later led Mexico with four games pitched in the 2009 World Baseball Classic, allowing 7 hits, 2 hit batsmen and 4 runs in 3 1/3 innings.
