Biographical Information[edit]
Luis Aquino was a member of the inaugural Florida Marlins squad of 1993, becoming the second pitcher to take the bump in their history in relief of knuckleballer Charlie Hough against the Los Angeles Dodgers on April 5, 1993. He pitched most of his nine seasons with the Kansas City Royals, making his final big league appearance in 1995 with the San Francisco Giants. Luis was named the Carolina League's top reliever in 1984.
