Biographical Information[edit]
Luis Angeles pitched in the minors and for the Dominican national team.
Angeles spent three seasons in the San Francisco Giants chain. With the 2010 DSL Giants, he was excellent at 8-3, 1.85 with a 0.91 WHIP. He tied Wander Beras and Deivi Mojica for second in the Dominican Summer League in wins. Coming stateside with the 2011 AZL Giants, he struggled (2-1, 7.43). He was 1-0 with a 6.41 ERA for the 2012 AZL Angels, surrendering 36 hits in 19 2/3 IP. He finished his minor league career 11-4 with a save and a 3.66 ERA in 40 games (19 starts).
He saw limited action for the Dominicans in the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games (2 G, 2 1/3 IP, 1 H, 2 BB, 1 R, 1 ER).
