Luis Ángel Montalvo Ramírez

Luis Montalvo has coached or managed the Dominican national team in five Pan American Games, five Amateur World Series and five Central American and Caribbean Games. He managed the Dominican Republic in the 1973 Amateur World Series and 1982 Central American and Caribbean Games (winning Gold that year, stunning Cuba) and coached for them in the 1978 Central American and Caribbean Games, 1979 Pan American Games and 1992 Olympics. He also coached in the Los Angeles Dodgers chain for 20 years.
