Biographical information[edit]
Catcher Lucella MacLean (later Ross) played for the South Bend Blue Sox in 1943 and 1944. In 1943, she hit .206 with 44 stolen bases, 22 walks (to only nine strikeouts) and 30 runs scored in 70 games. In 1944, she hit .197 with 21 stolen bases in 31 games.
Overall, she hit .204 with 65 stolen bases in 101 games.
She was inducted into the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991.
