Biographical Information[edit]
Lowell Wrigley played basketball and baseball in college. He went 16 for 46 with 3 doubles, a triple, two home runs and three errors in 12 games for the 1936 Portsmouth Pirates, his only appearances in pro ball. He later coached at Ohio State in 1945-1946; he was with the university for 37 years, becoming assistant dean of men. He also was a college football official in the Big Ten Conference and worked the Orange Bowl, Rose Bowl and Cotton Bowl.
