Louiseville, QC

From BR Bullpen

Louiseville is a city in central Quebec, located on the north shore of Lake St. Pierre, which is actually only a widening of the St. Lawrence River. It is 20 miles west of Trois-Rivières, QC. The town was known as Rivière-du-Loup until 1879, a name which created confusion with the better known town of that name, located some 300 km further downstream on the south shore of the St. Lawrence. Gene Vadeboncoeur was born here
