Biographical Information[edit]
Lou Meyers played two games for the Cincinnati Outlaw Reds in 1884. In four plate appearances he did not pick up a hit but walked once and scored a run. After going hitless in his very brief major league career, he played in the minors until 1888.
Very little is known about his life, though some people believe he might have been Native American due to his nickname being "Crazy Horse." He is called "Lew" in some sources. He died in 1920 after drinking rat poison.
