Lorne Niven

Biographical Information[edit]
Lorne Niven played for Team Canada.
Niven debuted with the 1972 Kindersley Klippers. He moved on to the Edmonton Tigers in 1973 and the Barrhead Cardinals in 1974. In '75, he was with the Red Deer Generals (6 for 18, HR) and Edmonton. The next year found him on the move again, back to Barrhead, where he spent the rest of the decade. The third baseman-catcher played for Canada in the 1980 Amateur World Series and 1981 Intercontinental Cup.
