Loel Elijah Passe
Loel Passe was a broadcaster who worked in Houston for 26 years. He first called Houston Buffs games from 1950 to 1961. When the Houston Colt 45s debuted, Passe was in the booth. He remained with the club until 1976. Passe's long time partner was Ford Frick winner Gene Elston. He also worked with Ford Frick winner Harry Kalas from 1965 to 1970.
