Lino Betancourt
First baseman Lino Betancourt is a former Cuban MVP.
Betancourt led the 1964-1965 Serie Nacional with six doubles for the Industriales. In 1965-1966, he led with 9 home runs and 45 RBI for the Henequeneros to win Cuban Serie Nacional MVP honors. He hit .259 for the Cuban national team in the 1966 Central American and Caribbean Games. Overall, Lino hit .252/.328/.380 in 7 seasons in Cuba.
