Biographical Information[edit]
Les Cox pitched twice for the 1926 Chicago White Sox. In five innings, he allowed 10 runs (only 3 earned) and two home runs (to Hall of Famers Babe Ruth and Tony Lazzeri) to craft an 0-1, 5.40 record. He died at 30 from complications relating to an appendectomy.
