Biographical Information

Pitcher Leroy Gass was one of the relatively few remaining players from the 1930s at the time of his death.

He played for the Caruthersville Pilots and Cambridge Cardinals in 1939 and the Sheboygan Indians in 1941.

He was a World War II veteran and served as mayor of Niantic, IL for 12 years.
