Biographical Information[edit]
Leovigildo Xiqués is the only major leaguer whose last name starts with the letter "X". In addition to his three seasons in the Negro American League, he appeared with three different Mexican League teams in 1945. He hit .209/~.278/.269 in 73 games. His strength was clearly speed as he had 5 triples and stole 16 bases.
