Leo Voogd pitched in the Netherlands for Neptunus, Sparta/Feyenoord and the Euro Stars. He was on the Dutch national team for the 1994 Haarlem Baseball Week (pitching one game against Mexico) and 1994 Baseball World Cup but did not appear in the latter event. In 1999, Voogd pitched 32 games to set a Hoofdklasse record, later broken. He became a coach for Schiedam in 2005 and was hired as head coach of ADO for 2009, replacing Bart Volkerijk. He became pitching coach of Sparta/Feyenoord in 2011.
