Biographical Information

Lefty Clarke took a 7-0 loss to the Chicago Cubs in his only major league game, which he started on the mound. He allowed all 7 runs but only 3 of them were earned.

Despite only pitching 5 innings in that game, Clarke is still credited with throwing a complete game because it was called for darkness after the 5th.
