Biographical Information[edit]
Lee King was an outfielder in the Major Leagues for seven years (1916-1922) and continued in the minor leagues until 1924. He served in the Armed Forces during World War I (BN). He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies.
He worked 30 years for Matthiessen Hegler Zinc Company at Spelter, WV. He died at his home at age 74 and is buried at Shinnston Masonic Cemetery in Shinnston, WV.
