Biographical Information[edit]
E. Lee Keyser was the minor league secretary for the St. Louis Browns, known as the "Father of Night Baseball" for being among those to introduce night baseball games at the Des Moines facility where he owned the Des Moines Demons of the Western League. Only the Independence Producers had a professional game under the lights before the Demons. He died at age 64 and is buried at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines IA.
