Lebanon Cedars

From BR Bullpen

The Lebanon Cedars played one year (1891) in the Eastern Association, representing Lebanon, PA. They were in sixth place at 37-60 until several teams folded in August. A new schedule was devised and they were 11-13 in the smaller league in this second part of the season, third of the remaining four clubs. They were managed by James Randall. Herb Goodall (12-12, 1.41) was the most effective pitcher, while Joseph Fitzgerald (12-17, 1.81) tied for the EA lead in losses. SS Monte Cross (.239, 29 SB, 10 triples) had possibly the most notable big-league career.
