Biographical Information[edit]
Leandro Mateo played in the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system from 2011-2013. In his final season he reached the Midwest League for four games. Defensively, Mateo was a middle infielder who played other positions as needed. He finished his playing career in 2014 with the Douglas Diablos of the independent Pecos League.
The Atlanta Braves hired Mateo in 2023 as a coach for the DSL Braves.
