Larry Watkins (Toy Cannon)

Biographical Information[edit]

Larry Watkins was a college coach.

A center fielder at ASU, he was assistant coach there from 1975-1981. When his mentor Herbert Wheeler retired, Watkins became head coach, a role he held for 30 years. He won 513 games, a school record, and was named Southwestern Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.
