Biographical Information[edit]
Larry Shane was a college coach.
Shane served in the US Army in Germany. He was 153-191-3 as head coach of Villanova University from 1973-1985. He also coached the men's softball team in the Maccabi Games in 1985 and 1989, winning Gold Medals. He remained at Villanova as assistant athletic director until retiring in 1998. He then was assistant coach at The Haverford School.
