Lance Hershberger was a successful college coach.
Hershberger was head coach of Bishop Dwenger High School from 1984-1989. In 1990, he started the program at Indiana Institute of Technology. He took them to the NAIA College World Series six years in a row, from 1998 (2nd place) through 2003. He coached Whitko High School from 2003-2006 and Concordia Lutheran High School from 2009-2013 .
