Lakers Stadium

Lakers Stadium, in Paris, IL, was home to the Paris Lakers who played from 1950-1959. The Lakers played in the Mississippi-Ohio Valley League, the predecessor of the Midwest League (1950–1955) and were charter members of the Midwest League in 1956. From 1955–1959, they were affiliated with the Chicago Cubs.^[1]

Lakers Stadium is located at 137 W Steidl Road. The park hosted the Mississippi–Ohio Valley League All-Star Game in 1951.^[2] The field and part of the original stands are still in use.^[3]
