Biographical Information

Kwi-tae Kang has caught in the Korea Baseball Organization for several years. He debuted with the 2002 Hyundai Unicorns, hitting .272/.290/.347 in 147 AB over 74 games. In 2003, he had 117 AB in 66 games and batted .256/.320/.385. He hit .284/.323/.426 in 141 AB and 84 G for the 2004 Unicorns. The next year, the backstop batted .264/.338/.400 in 265 AB and 104 games. He hit .299/.338/.417 in 144 AB and 73 G in 2006. In 2007, his batting line was .231/.263/.306 in 108 AB over 55 games. The club became the Woori Heroes in 2008, when Kang hit .249/.282/.333 in 261 AB over 104 contests.
